Beer at the Coffee District
One of Downtown Delray's gems is the Coffee District. Located on 2nd just south of 4th (Lake Ida Rd.) on the north end of the Pineapple Grove Arts District, the Coffee District has one of the best selections of fine beer in all of South Florida. The reason is simple- Chung.
His knowledge of the beers he carries (and the ones he's on the lookout for) is matched only by his knowledge of the beer/brewing scene itself. As my grandfather used to say, he's both a scholar and a gentleman. Mike and I went there the other evening, and a good time was had by all. Oh yeah, the food and coffee is excellent, too... but for a beer aficionado, it's hard to think about anything there aside from the ~120 beers to choose from.
dtr
dtr is a new script I'm trying to hack together, using my extremely dusty understanding of perl, in an attempt to have MTR capability on Windows.
winMTR previously served this void admirably. But what normally happens with open-source code that's left to rot for awhile happened with winMTR... it no longer works in Vista or Windows7. Oddly enough, it does work in Windows Server 2008.
Theme changes
You may see the theme switching back and forth between multiple themes I'm experimenting with. I'm not expecting one to be perfect... but perfect enough that someone with my limited skillset can still make it work with everything I've got.
