Today is my father's birthday, so even though he's likely not to ever stumble across this... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

Today we're just going to do the usual... grill out back at Mom + Dad's. Personally, I'm never in a better mode than when having a beer with Dad on the back porch with the grill going on a sunny Saturday. The ensuing conversation later at the dinner table comes a close second.

I likely won't post too many personal notes to this site, but I feel this one's warranted.
